A heat wrap on your intake will make very little performance difference, because most of the heat soak is going to your IM.
Like I said, "can't hurt." (but probably a waste of money)

still some times i feel the pipe and its hot, just want a little shielding from my hot *** header

Typhoon is correct.... you can insulate the intake with heat wrap if you want... but it will look ugly, and you can't keep the heat out of the intake manifold anyway. The performance benefits would be nothing. It would be a waste of money.... but if you are set on doing it... knock yourself out.

lol...u can always go grab a can of spray paint and repaint ur chrome pipe...i remember reading sum guy say that painting ur pipe black will reflect heat, but i learned in skewl that black absorbs and retains heat, so i dunno...

Ive heard using that heat risistant paint on you IM and intake piping could, potetialy make the smallest difference. Is that true, or just a waste of $10 bucks on paint.?

Yes, it is true and it is a waste of $10 performance wise. I rattle canned my intake piping black with heat resistant paint and it truly made the smallest difference imaginable
No performance difference but black piping looks better than chrome piping, IMO

kinda but you dont wanna look like a highschool dropout esp since you are in college, its not critical to spell everything correct but its nice to have sentences that flow and are easy to read.

Although I agree, when you're correcting someone on their grammar you should try to use your and you're correctly
.
To the OP: don't waste your time.

It will cause massive metal-fatique, and your header will basically disintegrate.</TD></TR></TABLE>
No, it will not, i have it on my ceramic for 3years now, there's no sight of rust or anything. Did i mention it's ceramic TOO?
why bother with intake heat WRAP(not rap), it will not do anything, go make a custom box for your intake or cai to block out all the heat. if you sucking in hot air already, padding up the intake tube wouldnt do a darn thing
