Dyno: J's Racing intake V.S. Stock ITR w/K&N. 2.0L B18C
During the my dyno session on Sunday they had a J's Racing intake sitting around, so after all the tuning was finished we threw it on to see what difference it would make on the dyno.
We all know there are differences between real-world driving situations and dyno's, regardless, the intake definately has two resonance frequencies, one at 5500rpm's, and one at 8000rpm's. Ideal IMO.

its really funny how you see real dynos saying 2 completely different things. some the j's style makes more some the filter on a stick makes more...

No doubt, throw the version 1 AEM cai on it and see what happens

top end only gains about 1HP but around 5500RPM it has a better noticable gain for street drivin when u dont redline all the time i'd say it gives more power just my .02

The tailpipe sniffer was running between .5 and .9 leaner than the bung WBO2. Their tailpipe sniffer is getting old. AF's are fine

My experience is that the J's has three resonance points:2,800, 5,900, & 7,900. The problem I have seen is that a resonance point for the J's is nowhere near as pronounced as I have seen for other intakes. It makes the J's fairly easy to tune-the A/F does not fluctuate very much so you get a nice flat A/F curve and corresponding torque curve. I run it on my street car because of it's low end grunt ; it only sacrifices 10 or so HP up top to the other intakes that I have in my arsenal
