anyone put some fuel injector clearner in their car before... i put it on my civic before when it was idleing funny and it seemed to solve the problem... and recently i sold my civic and picked up an gsr... and i put a bottle in my gsr... seems to give me problems... like my engine light came on... and also starts funny... sometimes it runs rough for like 30 sec and then runs fine again... anyone knoe why ???

 

maybe that injector cleaner is fucked up. while the cleaner made it's way to the injectors it must have fucked with one of them. that's probaly why the CEL came up. it's probaly a misfire code. try using the tank of gas you have now and fill up later. you might want to change your fuel filter too. if that doesn't work, i would try and listen to the injector pulse-see if the injector is bad or not.

 

If the mix was to strong , sometimes it gets to the 02 sensors and the spark plugs, take them out and check them , if the plugs are ok reset the ecu...good luck.

 

how do i just check the spark plugs.. can u just look at them and see if they are bad or not ???

You either see fuel on them or you don't lol
