Roll Call - who's at CMP for the Ponytales 3 day?
Aside from Starnes, Shugg, Brinson and myself, who is planning on being down at CMP for the Mustang club event on March 22-24, more importantly on Friday? I was thinking about paddocking over between T2 and T3.
Just trying to get a show of hands.

Yup... I'll be there.
There's a good mix of cars already signed up. It's pretty much like a Sandlapper BMW CCA event.
There's a lapping day on Friday if you are an Advanced student. There is NOT a clinic or anything else going on so that means LOTS of track time.
Any other Hondas showing up? Whitney, Shultz and Nicholson....?

BTW - since I just got IM'ed, I figured I'd post this here. Here is a link to the event info:

If you haven't signed up, for the money, this would be a nice test and tune weekend for the first NASA HC race one month later (for all those who haven't ever been or haven't been in a while) and it would be very inexpensive for the number of miles to be had.

Check with Matt and Karl but I thought it was only 130 or so mile drive for them - you shouldn't be more than 2.5 hours from them . . . is that *that* far?
It takes me 3.5 to get to VIR towing... So who knows... I got to save up an buy a trailer anyways... Can't be spending money on the weekends
I guess I'll just have to get my *** beat down at the first ECHC race...

Yeah, Starnes is gonna hand it to us!
Corey, we need to come up with a strategy. You know, like "accidently" dropping a wheel off in front of him, or some "strategic" blocking. Come on, we can site F1 for legal defensive manuevers. Right?

Come on guys...you know I won't have anything for you guys this year. Just don't get too use to the slow straight line speeds, cause next year it's gonna be a different story.
Corey- from VIR to CMP it's probably about 3.5 to 4 hours with no traffic.

Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have pointed you towards SGT
Well, sounds like the tow to CMP is right around 9 hours for me, with only 1 stop
I'll say more like 10 hours. I guess I'll have to take the surrounding fridays/mondays off.
Hey Jon, where did you put your remote oil filter? I'm gonna rig up an oil cooler this month, but I'm trying to figure out where to put the damn filter.

I would love to go.. I guess I am just really worried about doing something to my car, and not being able to fix it before the first ECHC race at CMP...
Anyone willing to let me co-drive
Warren, wanna make the trip down??
