Default Turbo V6

Is it possible to do a custom turbo setup on a 5th gen Accord V6 (C27a4)? If so does anyone know any shops willing to do something like that? What turbo and psi should I run? Any other suggestions would help. Peace.

A turbo on any engine in any car is possible. Realize that you probably aren't going to be able to use Uberdata, etc., and will probably need a system that can be used in any application... ie a MegaSquirt or other comparable standalone.

The specifics would have to be decided based upon what you are willing to modify. For example, the size of the turbo and type of manifold and exhaust will be greatly affected by the engine bay. There isn't a lot of room to work with in a 5gen Accord.

What turbos to use? Again depends. You could do a single turbo with complex exhaust arrangement, or go twin turbo if you have the cash to invest in two turbos. A pair of the smaller turbos would be good in my opinion. Yank the twin Garrett TD04H turbos out of a TT Nissan... Or find a pair of GT17's or maybe even GT15's. Each turbo only has to be big enough to support 1.35 liters.

Does your car still riced-out like it does on cardomain?

If it does, just slap a few bottles of nawwz in it and call it a night. As for the motor & turbocharging, try the accord board, or the dedicated (non-HT) accord forums.

its not a very strong motor, its gonna cost out the ***.

plus didnt they only offer those automatic in the 5th gen v6? correct me if im wrong please. i dont see this being cheap at all; but hell built tranny, built motor, turbo, v6, automatic accord could be a track monster.

my advice, honda v6's are not where id want to be, honda automatic v6's...even worse still. but hell if you go on with out, more power to you and best of luck.
