Hey Phil, sup.

Nice Pics. I would go for under axle straight piping, but my damn steep driveway won't allow it. Time to move house

Nice pics, are those custom made? I didn't know the Apexi N1 go the center axile of the car. That has almost no ground clearance at all, but I like them.

I think the angle looks like the installer got lazy and did it wrong. Bah, does not make a big enough difference to go under or over the rear sway bar (w/2.5) so why not hide it as much as possible?

The blue hatch looks awsome with the angled muffler.

When I was in Japan in January, thats all I saw. Almost everyone had angled N1 style exhausts. I didn't like it at first but the look has grown on me.

Eh...I'd rather stick with a straight tip. A little angled is ok but not all the way where you can actually notice it.

I'm starting a new trend - gonna mount mine totally sideways, w/the tip jutting out the side like on a pickup truck! Hell, if I leave off a hanger or two, maybe it'll skip on the pavement and throw some sparks! Yah cool!

That's pretty funny. It would almost be an improvement over the angled look.

The reason of an angled muffler is to minimize the angle the exhaust gas encouter. Since the stock R pipe goes around the right rear control arm, an angle muffler is more for look. However, is his case, the pipe is going straight down from the center of the axile, puting the exhaust can in an angle will eliminate 1 extra angle bent.

Straight is old school, angle is the way to go

Give me a break! Let's see the dyno on the two! I hear what you're saying but I bet you can't show me a spits worth of HP gain. Let's call a duck a duck - plain and simple, ppl just want to show off the coffee can by getting it turned sideways.

I like the N1 angled muffler...the japan style is nice in most cases...Does the yellow R have a turbo 3.0inch or a N/A 2.5 cat back. Apexi N1??????? It looks like a 2.5 but i could be wrong..and i saw a N1 on an R at the track and it went over the control arm... IS yours custom

It would match if you angle your wheels too.
