Squealing noise from tranny
Guys and girls, thanks for your help.
My RRR is a 2000 which came with an aftermarket replacement tranny of some sort. The tranny has approximately 80,000 kms on it. 2-3 synchro needs to be replaced, but clutch still works fine.
During idle, occasionally an intermittent squealing noise comes from the tranny. Sometimes you can trigger the noise after you take your foot off the clutch. The noise doesn't fade in or out, it's either on or off.
Could it be the throwout bearing or input shaft bearing?
Cheers,
Eric
