DC2 ITR
Hi guys, its been a while.
I was thinking maybe change my car, i have a DC2R 96 Spec but after a lot of thinking, i think there is almost no car like a DC2R!!!!
Is it true that CTR cams make a big improvement on ITRs????
Is it necessary to change cam gears??

For the 2000 and 2001 model years, the profile/duration of the intake cam on the B18C5 was changed to resemble that of the B16 CTR intake cam.
It provided a little extra torque down low and made emissions compliance a little easier.
In most cases, your purchase of a CTR intake cam for your B18C motor would not make enough of a difference to be worth the price, IMHO.
If you did do it, no, you would not need to change the cam gear.
