Default My TODA cams after 9000 miles

Here are a couple of pics of what my TODA spec B cams look like after 9000 miles, and various trips to 9400 pm...9000 almost daily.

Acouple of more here...

I believe that they look very good for the mileage...they look like they were barely used, I guess that the cryogenic treatment was worth it

There are 3 reasons that I removed the cams...#1 I need the money, #2 I am in need of something that will last me for the "long-haul" as I do not have a garage to work on the car, and I do not have another car for a daily driver and #3 the additional maintenence costs are above what my budget for the forseeable future can handle.

i understand number 1. you won't have a problem with 2 and 3. The 9k+ daily thing is up to you.

looks like someone hardly hit vtec on those cams ?

I understand your number 3, or can relate to it anyway.

I have a nice street prepped b16a swap I could put in my 88 CRX Si daily driver which currenty has stock everything and gives me 320 miles to a whole tank (9 gallons at fillup). I really wanna put the b16a in there to have some nice prep, but I'm so spoiled by that gas mileage and dont wanna touch a thing on the car ...
For example, if I go by Lip's hometown in south jersey I put 120 miles easy back and forth, I did that with my wife's 4runner and used up 3/4 tank gas, with the CRX the needle would move from"F" to right under "F" ... would you swap a motor in ? I wouldn;t ... afterall I'm building a full blown race car why waste money on fuel comsumption on my daily driver, just for the need for speed onthe street which will give me more tickets anyways, attract more attention and too much BS to deal with... stock motor and stock car is best, I've accepted that.

Then there is the issue of all the thefts in NJ ... screw that not worth it ...

Well Austin, sell the cams put some type r cams in there and call it a day.

On the contrary, quite often...I loved giving people rides, we both had after the ride. At the moment I am driving a car with only the Mugen head gasket and the Comptech Icebox...damn this car feel ssssllloooowwww header should be back on within a month

My cams look like that after about 5x the mileage.
Dont need cryogenic treatment.

I guess I have been very lucky, because I have over 100k on my Jun3 cams with only one timing belt change at 80k.

Knock Knock on wood,
