I dont have the buck for the full coiover system out there. But I do have a set of Ground Controls from my other Integra. I was wondering if it will mess up my 00 type-r>? If I do lower it using ground controls and dont slam the car , and say i change my mind and was going back to stock will my shocks be messed up? thanks. please tell me what you think

yeah, i mean i would lower the car if its not going to compromise the car permantly. this car is just used for daily driving, work n home. thats about it. i dun auto-x(not yet) but for now jsut wanna give it a jdm look. lil low and some rimz.

and lowering your itr doesn't mean it has a jdm look.
hehe..ure actually right. imma sell them and probably buy the sppon springs. I heard they work well and I guess thats the best way to go. I would end up turning fast corners and still wanna keep my R feel
a friend of mine had them along with the shocks and they felt good, i would recommend, plus it will lower your car a bit ust like you wanted, witout sacrifacing handling

nope sorry, ask typer 599, he's running on them, or use the search option, or post another topic as the where you can buy them
If what you want is JUST a small drop then get R specific springs that will work with stock shocks. The jury is still out as to If they are btter or worse than the stock setup but, at least they are made to match with the R's Shocks.
Some better ones are:
Spoon
H&R
Neuspeed
And just because it says something funny like Tenzo-R is doesn't mean it is R specific.
My opinion is: stay stock till you actually Do auto-X and learn how to drive the R the way it is. It is a very well balanced car to begin with and it already has a 3/4" drop over the GSR and such. Lowering it for looks is just silly to me. I'd rather have the confidence that the car will do what I pilot it to. As well you have No Idea which traits the car has already when pertaining to handeling and hwat you may or may not improve on or adjust.
Get to know the car at it's limits,
NOT ON THE STREET!
Good luck,
A.

you could get koni yellow struts... they are a little pricey ($400?/set I think), but you would be getting a much better strut, and they have a slight hight adjustment... 1" in front and 3/4" in back I believe.. kill 2 birds with 1 stone if you dont want it slammed!
dude, you can slam the hell out of them and your shocks be fine . when i had em on my other teg i had it at least lowered 3 inches all the time on stock shock, it rode great and great look . . .i wann get another set for my r one of these days.

Just to clarify, GCs work 100% fine on ITRs. You people really do NOT need to pay 1500 bucks for threaded body coilovers.
