Default What clutch should I go with

Well Im planing to get a new clutch and fly wheel next week should i go with a Exedy stage 2 normal thickness clutch or an ACT stage 3 clutch both with an 9 or 11 pound fly wheel. I am planing to go turbo next year. and so far i have Intake, skunk2 IM, 2 1/4"cat back exhaust, GSR TB and 4 into 1 header all on an b18b motor.appreciate any coments and suggestions.

**** exedy i got one it sucks ***. get an ACT keep the stock flywheel though, the rev wil be too crazy and especially if you planning you to turbo you dont wanna rise rpm so quickly

^^^^ someone's made some bad decisions.

i recommend the Action 1ks clutch. smooth engagement, probably 20% stiffer than stock, and it's kevlar! a lot of ITR run this clutch. for the flywheel i'm stock cause i didn't wanna throw off my balanced crank.

I usually have a clutch shop build one for me. It usually ends up cheaper as well.

agreed!

I had Clutch Specialties in Orange County, CA build an ACT clutch kit with a stock flywheel machined down to 12 lbs for my D16Z6. 120,000 miles later, no problems, and it was LESS THAN HALF of what a Clutch Masters kit would have cost me.

My last one was from Asheville Clutch And Brake in Asheville NC. It had a 60% holding capacity over stock with about half the stock pedal effort. I mated it to an Exedy flywheel and it was the best combo I've ever felt (excluding the ATS carbon setup).
