Second, the car pulls strong as hell all the way to 8,000, but it's hard to decipher when Vtec is kicking in. Is it normal for the SOHC motors?

I used an SFC-VTEC controller. (which admittingly, I have not played with) It feels about like my old ZC. (I punked out and used the DX tranny)

I remember the LSVtec I previously had. That thing was violent at the Vtec.
