how will i be able to tell if it is a real itr head. i know its head code starts with pr3-something but isnt that also the case for the b16 head let me know i want to be sure before i buy one of these heads off of ebay.

 

i would do a search under archived topics using the word(s) "real type r head" or something...hopefully this helps a little

it will have jasma stamped on it, that way you know its really jdm type r

They have green paint on them. But if you really want to indentify it as an ITR head, you need to look at the bowl work.



And if you are worried about buying a head off e-bay, I am selling the original head from my 1997 ITR. There is a link in my sig.

 

all pr3 heads have green paint.......my ITR and B16A have green paint by the distributor.

 

does anybody have pics of the type r bowl work and the b16 bowl work so i can see wat im looking for
