Default gt28r/71 - 48mm trim a/r 0.60

is it possible to hit 400 whp number with that turbo ? on b16 engine..i saw that exist three different types of that turbo. 48mm, 52mm, 56mm trim.I can get alomst new 48mm trim, but only on condition that provided up tp 400whp.

check
are that whp numbers?
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/...1.htm

they say that supports up to 400whp, but with what size of compressor housing?

http://www.full-race.com/catal...d=504

my setup:

b16 stock bore, not sleeved engine..
eagle rods, wiseco 8.8 etc..

cause i can get it for 500 bucks.Turbo is almost new it has 3k miles..

Look at our drag race, as you can see we don't have here in slovenia(country near italy) real track to drag, so we need to arrange drag events on the street..

here's one video of my car...on the left side is venturi atlantique..

well if its legit, then go for it. money wise, i think $500 for one of those turbos is good, considering its "like-new".

but if your true power goal is 400 whp, then i say save up the money and get yourself a gt30 of some sort.

im sorry, are you tryin to ask me when does boost kick in?.

i have almost the same setup as yours, a b16a2 from my em-1. gonna keep it stock bore but you never know what'll happen in the future (money-wise).

i was going to go with a gt28rs but then it only supports up to about 300 hp i think(?). so i decided to spend $100 more and get a gt30 that can easily support 300-500 hp.

now i decided to go with t3/60 , becouse it's much cheaper than GT series.Ok, it's non ball bearing but, doesen't matter..I would like to see full boost at 4.5k RPM , what trim and A/R should i get..Don't forget i'm looking for 400-450whp ...
Here in europe you can get on every gas station 100 octane gas, min octane you can get in europe is 95.so we can get high hp numbers on pump gas than youbut it's damn expensive..today i refeel my civic and i payed for 39 liters (10.3 gal) almost 50 bucks(

t3/t60 is still good, will definitely meet your power goals.

The T3/T61 is what I would call the "poor mans" GT35R. You should check on http://www.evans-tuning.com in the dyno sheet forum and do searches for the T3/T61 or even the SC61 (SC6152E). Both of those can be bought with the GT35R cold side, it will just have the standard journal bearing and not the GT ball bearing center section (CHRA). For turbine a/r I would say go with a 0.63 a/r, and if at all possible ask for the T04S compressor housing since it will support more power. Those turbo's should reach bost by around 5500 or so RPMs, but if you look on Evans Tuning you can see for yourself on peoples dyno sheets.
