Default 1997 to 1998 D15Y7 Swap

Hi All,

I'm a new member here, trying to find some information. We've got a 1998 4-door Civic LX who's #3 piston has got some pretty bad lash in one of the cylinders. This was causing it to eat oil pretty well and now it's got a burnt valve. Instead of trying to rebuild the block, I sourced another D15y7 engine that *should* bolt right in.

My question for you gurus is this: How "bolt-in" is the 1997 engine to a 1998 engine? Like I said, the 1998 is an LX, and I'm almost positive the '97 I've got sourced is the same engine (I still have to go check it out). I guess I'm mostly worried about the wiring harnesses and the ECU and stuff. It's only got 56,000 miles on it, and I can pick it up for 250 bucks with an Auto Tranny (same mileage). I don't really want the auto but how can I pass that deal up? It's already pulled and everything!

Help me make this happen - Any good resources/tips you might have?

Thanks!
