Default For the Cooling Experts...

Did a search and didn't find anything recent, so sorry if this is a repost.

Application: '00 Si, B16A2
Part: Radiator Core
Options: OEM ($220) or Kragen/Autozone ($170.00 with lifetime warranty)
Question: Anyone have fitament issues with aftermarket applications? I'm not wanting to go used as this needs to last me another 80,000 miles, and high performance is not needed. Any expertise, experience, or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you want to reaplce the radiator again within the next 20k then get it from autozone, otherwise man up and get the oem one.

What tends to go bad on them? They just fail to cool or do they rupture on the linings?

Last bump for the morning. If anyone else has info to chime in, it would be appreciated.

JDM-97CX, thanks for the info.

Got my rad. from Carparts.com about 2.5 years ago and it works fine. It costs $109 plus shipping. I don't think it comes with a warrenty. Everything fit fine and I have not had any problems with it.

Here is the link:

I think shipping was about $15.

Radiators.com has warranties. I've been running them in both my cars for years.
