Me and my buddy just got done swapping a B18A1 into my car. We replaced the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, throw out bearing spring.

Problem is when the car is started the car goes into gear fine but wont go anywhere, when the car is turned off we put the car into 1st gear and we could push it as if it was in neutral, we also tried 3rd gear and had the same result....???


??????? please help ???????

 

sounds like the linkage isnt coming out of the tranny far enough to engage 1 or 3 gear. will it go into 5th gear, or is it the same situation.

 

one (or both) of your axles is not all the way into the transmission
