Default Bent Crank Pulley

I believe that I have a bent crank pulley. When I manually turn the pulley, it appears to wobble and when the car was running, it would shake the shifter and clutch pedal. It ripped through the lower timing belt cover and you can no longer see the timing marks.

Can I just fix this with a replacement of the pulley or could it have occured from some other internal problem?

Is it possible that something hit it, like a large rock or something? Get it changed as soon as possible, it's really throwing off the balance of the motor and will have tons of negative effects on the motor's internals (especially the bearings).

I don't think that it was hit with a rock. I was just driving it around normally and it started shaking a lot and make a funky noise, but I didn't notice anything strange before that.

Is it possible that it occurred because of accessory belts that were too tight? Could any internal damage cause the bent crank pulley like blown thrust bearings?

Could be a sheared Woodruff key, the little rectangular piece that fits in the slot on the nose of the crank. I had mine let go and it made a mess of that slot.
