I was thinking to get 2 trunk popers and making one into a hood poper. Do you think it would work? I also think its a anti- theft device

 

You're still gonna have to pull the release inside the car to open it.

If you're thinking about removing the release handle and using the popper, the popper won't work because it pushes out. You need something like a trunk solenoid, to pull the cable.

 

Ditto the above, also you may want to think about how you will open it if the batt. goes dead, [if you remove the manual release completely] 94

 

i was thinking about the ones like the trunk popers were they pull. Im also not worried about my battry because i have my battery relocated in the trunk.
