17x7's? with a 205/40 Im assuming... With the Eibach prokit's especially you shouldn't have any problems. I run 17's with a pretty low drop and it doesn't complain except for a few really big bad bumps at high speeds. But this is do to the fact that my car is way lower than eibach prokits will allow. So in other words, you should be fine. Any raising of the car will be minimal.

Word of caution: As previously mentioned, just make sure the offset is all good.

I have 17x7" 40 offset and 205/40 p7000 supersports on mine and had to "roll" the lips on front. Only rubs if the car is transitioning over steeply ramped or large curbed driveway entrances. Usually fine:

I have 17x7.5 with 42mm offset and 205/40 tires on eibach prokit. The only problem i have with rubbing is when i make left turns and there is a bump on the road. Other than that i dont get any kind of rubs. My right turns dont rub. Go figure.
