Well basically exactly the same as the title says, i have an 88 crx dx that i am swapping a d16z6 into, i have a p28 ecu and pm6 tell me what the easiest route would be installing it. thanks
P28 is a must. You'll be using an OBD1 distributor as well.
See http://www.rywire.com for the complete wiring conversion.
You'll be using a Heated 4-wire O2 Sensor.
The conversion is $300 from us, O2 Sensor is $75 if you need it.
Unfortunately, this is the cheapest price on the market, i know it sounds high, but it's worth it.
Give Ryan and I a call, #'s on the site

any help you guys can give me is appreciated, what about injectors, run the z6 injectors or obd0 with resistor box

This is what i did
1. pr3 ECU, this will enable vtec to kick in
2.modifity the d16a6 distributor to get timing correctly(cut the inside hole of the top leg)
3.Use stock injectors and oxygen sensor.
4.For the wiring, just wire all 4 injectors, wire cylinder sensor which comes out of the distributor, and change the pins of the crank angle sensor.

I dislike ghetto setups. A non-vtec distributor with a dual cam ECU on a single cam..That just wrooong
I won't get into it.Did you say you don't have a DX harness?
You don't necessarily need a OBD1 harness, just some plugs from it that you can obtain from almost any decent junkyard.
Distributor plugs, injector run, injector resistor box (if obd0 injectors) Injector block-off plug (if obd1 inj.). O2 sensor plug etc....
We sell ECU jumpers. Give me a call, put a voice to the name, i'll give you a deal where i can.
This is one of the better how-to's for DPFI to MPFI out there.

hey thanks alot yea i do have a dx harness, i actually do plan on getting an ecu jumper im just trying to figure out the rest, if i buy that dont i just have to wire the 4 wire o2 and the vtec and oil pressure for vtec
um i'm having the same problem.. i bought a crx with a d16z6 in it and the previous owner had a pr3 ecu in it so now i have a p28 and bought the harness to convert it from obd0 to obd1. If anybody has any detailed walkthroughs it would help a lot
anytime really, we're very busy, so if you get the voicemail, just leave a message and Ryan or I will get back to you. Calls slow down after 5pm and we are available late.
Yes that's correct about the wires you need to run. 4-wire O2 sensor, VTEC and VTEC oil pressure (with a ring terminal ground wire to the thermostat housing)
Tuanxvu: If you have a P28 and ECU Jumper, you'll need the OBD1 z6 distributor (td-42u), a 4-wire O2 sensor, and a OBD1 VTEC subharness wired to your ECU Jumpers pigtail - Contact Rywire for all.
