Default type r obd

hey im getting an engine swap next week.i got a 99 ex civic(d16y8).i just want to know if the 98+ jdm integra r go obd2a or obd2b?the reason i wanna know is if i have to change the plug on my harness or its just a direct bolt on?

96-98 is OBD-2A, 99-01 is OBD-2B. You'll have to modify your stock engine harness to work with it as the EK harnesses run all the way to the ECU where the DC harnesses plug into the chassis harness while still in the engine bay. If the ECU you get is OBD-2A, there are several companies that make appropriate conversion harnesses.
