dont need to.
venum has a large plenum with straight entrances into each runner.... good for flow bad for aerodynamics... teh air tumbles when entering the runner.
jg edelbrock has tapered entrances into each runner, smoothing hte ariflow and producing more power

no love for blox?
btw i have seen one case where the edelbrock caused a engine to run lean on cil. 3.
annybody heard about this?

If I was going to get a manifold for a B-series engine, it would be the AIR intake manifold or I'd hold out for the Full-Race Intake manifold. The Full-Race already proved that it is just as capable as the AIR (which made more power throughout the entire RPM range than the Edelbrock), and that was just on its initial design.
edelbrock
choiboiracing(gary) is runnin one on his (expected) 700hp+ SFWD.

nope
nope
venom is junk, had one for years, lots of headaches no provisions for anything, new location for throttle cable, plus thin gauge plenum and runners may look like jiffy pop after No2 backfire.

i also heard that. there was a test between stock IM and venom in one of these magazines i have, it turned out that venom actually made less power.

your onyl going to see gains from a venom manifold, way up in the rpm range with boost, you saying that means jack **** without knowing the setup, if you through a venom mani on a stock car you would lose all low end...

I'd say JG edelbrock... I have a Honda engine builders book with dyno runs and they only made some hp on the Vemon at rpms over 9k meanwhile they lost power like crazy below there. You may laugh but the B16 intake manifold actually produces very good numbers and a solid powerband specially on a street motor.
