You've got some issues, you should refer to the FAQs which will probably tell you to change your plugs, wires, distributor rotor, and maybe an 02 sensor.

moderate driving = 360/ tank

how are you driving your car?
is your engine in good shape? (normal maintenance, servicing, etc.)

You have some huge issues. Is there a garbage bag wrapped around your air filter? OMG. get that checked out.

one thing you may want to check is that your gas gauge isn't off because on my 92 something is makin the gas gauge read a lot lower than it is. cause my gauge would read that it was completly empty but when i fill it up it would only take in like 8 or 9 gallons. i havn't found out why its doin this yet. so you may just want to take a look at that before you check everything else

miles per tank doesnt really mean anything. Take the two seconds to calc out how many miles you are getting per gallon.

I have a h22a4 in my 4th gen and get between 28 and 30 mpg, mostly highway.

Daaaamn man, you have some HUGE issues with your car. You should be getting around 300-350 to the tank. It time for a major tune-up

Wow and i thought i was getting pretty crappy gas mileage. And i have the same motor. And when my bars on the gas gauge go to zero i still have like 2 gallons cause when i fill up it says that i put 13 gallons, I don't really like the gauge the 4th gen has, cause my bars go down, and i hate it cause is not a needle. But i get like about 300 325, if i push it, but i don't want to try that.
