What's the best price you folks have negotiated for a brand new S2000? I'm haggling with one of the dealers and we're at $31,400 incl. delivery for a stock model (maybe that special paint protection thrown in). I know he must have more wiggle room. Any advice? Much appreciated - thanks.

Sorry, this is barry (BAZ) All my Dad basically wants to know is if anyone has done better than $31,400 in the Southwest, he is looking to buy within the next couple of days and would appreciate any advice he can get on buying a new S2K. We're in AZ.

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but I'm looking for people in this region with experience and input on our specific situation. All the local s2ki clubs seem to be mostly dealers with nothing but cell phone #'s as replies. Can we do better than $31,400?

Honda World in OC. Take into account I knew the sales manager, and its my 3rd new car I bought from them.

I figured there was some kind of catch, haha. Thats an awesome deal

 

SoCal-- 29,500 for the car (not including tax/licensing). Free wheel locks, VIN window etching (even though I didnt want it), free oil changes as long as my sales guy works there, free license plate hole cover thingys, paint stuff (because it was a showroom car).... after tax and blah blah I think it was 32,500...

Are you looking at the 06's or 05's? I've heard people picking up the 05's for $30k including TTL. Up in the colder states, the winter's coming (actually, here, it's already snowing in the mountains), so the dealers are getting desperate.

its very hard to get 30k out the door but it is doable. when i was looking at buying a S, i had my dealership down to 30500 out the door with lip and spoiler. This was in june. Two notes, my families have bought 4 new cars from them. My dad knows the sales manager and dealership vp

I got my dad to deal with the dealers since he is a broker. All I did was pick out the color and fill out the credit app. lol. And NFR is the SHIZZLE! I bought mine from Gardena Honda because they feel the same way I do. Theyll have only one NFR at a time and always leave it on the showroom floor with the paint coating thing and no test drives allowed. I never heard of any dealership doing that for Suzuka. PSH. Smart people....

BAHAHAHAHAH!! j00 wish. NFR is THE fastest AND sexiest AND more rare than Suzuka! Every s2000 meet I go to, theres like 2-3 Suzukas and 1 nfr (me). Teehee! <FONT COLOR="red">NFR f0 lyf3 y0!</FONT>

 

opposite here, only suzuka in the local area. but there happens to be 3 NFR's. Suzuka is alot more rare here. NFR is seen so much its like seeing a stop sign

I told you to bring it here for 2 reasons:

- you're coming here soon, might as well bring your car. can kill 2 birds at once or at least try
- I am not doing any more roadtrips, had too many this year

I wouldn't mind driving there for laguna. I love the track from playing GT3 and GT4. Hopefully someday I'll be able to drive on it but i doubt it will be with a S...
