Oh since I heard someone said AP brakes need quite some extra care but I am not sure if they're talking about those models without dust shield. These ones my friend wanna get got dust shields on both calipers.

He is using 15x7 K1 Racing 45mm offset setup with EK9 brakes front and rear now. Need upgrade so he wants to know more info.

How much better are they? Need lots of extra care?

The 5100 series have the dust seals so they would be fairly easy to maintain. In order to install them you will need an intermediate bracket, which is actually easier to install on the small brake Civic knuckles. Email me for more details.
