Default Need to know how the throttle cables go on a cruise control car

Installing cruise control while I'm doing a 5 speed swap on my sedan.

I need to know how the cables go for the throttle/cruise.

There's an additional bracket attached to the throttle pedal.

What I need to know is this:

Does the original throttle cable stay connected from the original spot on the throttle pedal and then go to the throttle body; and the cruise control actuator cable goes to the "add-on" bracket at the throttle pedal?

Or is it the other way around?

from what ive seen, cruise control cable is connected to a separate bracket that is connected to the throttle body. the end of the cable mounts to the bottom of the butterfly valve springs, opposite of the regular throttle cable.

perhaps this was how it was setup on a auto tranny EX. i didnt check. but i saw two EX, the same way.
