Wiring problem??? Brake light switch, any help would be appreciated.
Ok so I was installing my alarm system. In order to tap into the parking light wires I took the fuse box/wiring harness down from it's location.
Ever since I did that the rear brake lights stay on if the battery is connected. If I step on the brakes there is no change. To avoid killing my battery I disconnected the terminals.
I think there must be some sort of switch or something when the brake is applied. If so that switch or circuit on my car has some issues.
Anyone know what to look for or does anyone have the wiring schematic for this. It is a 91 crx si.
I got friggen pissed and put my fist through the right rear brake light so I will now need one of those too, but that is after I get this wiring thing fixed..
Thank you.
Steven
