Default BB T3/T4? 1050 too much for you guys?...I know it is for me...

http://www.thespeedfactor.com/....html

(This is in no way a sponsor for this website. I'm mearly stating that they are retailing the BB versions WAY less than what was mentioned here. I have no financial link to posting this up.)

What other prices have you guys seen?

So far, I've only heard about the 1050 price.

I would definetly take one for $875!!!

Obviously, since the b.b t3/t4's are just hitting the market now there is going to be a, mark up in price....i assume when demand goes down so will the prices....

But apparently 1100 is suggested retail, so whoever told us the price of 1050 was a ******* rip off. I'm just letting people know, that these are MUCH MUCH cheaper than what they told us here recently.

Viren, did you look on the SF website? where did you see "upgrade" ? it looks to me as if they are moving these as complete turbo's at the 875 price. maybe i missed something on that site?

I dunno. No where on there does it say that its just for the center section. Just from the wording anyone that sees it is going to think its a complete turbo. Especially for the fact that they ask you what A/R you want for the turbine.

Thanks Dave. I'm sure this is only the tip of the iceburge. As soon as more compaines see what others are retailing them for, the prices will go down.

actually, if they are full stainless bearing sections yu have to. i talked in person to about 5 garrett engineers bout htis becaue i see so few people actually using them.

because hte bearings are not ceramic, they are affected by heat more.. i.e that heat cycle expand/contract more. not running the water lines allows the bearings to reach extremely high temperatures... then you just cut off the motor and the oil cokes in the bearings, reducingthe effiency and everything.

if it has a water line provision USE IT

Do these ball bearing T3/T4 use a ball bearing thrust bearing as well as the radial bearing like a GT BB? Or do they use a conventional thrust bearing along with the BB sleeves to replace the conventional journal bearings?

Indeed... ...However, I would have to credit my freind Seth for the find... The word is, that this is all over the DSM boards as well.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 99_GS-T &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Do these ball bearing T3/T4 use a ball bearing thrust bearing as well as the radial bearing like a GT BB? From what I've heard, they are dual BB just like the GTs.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Maveric &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Dont forget the link you posted...

Well, considering the fact that Precision themselves are selling them for 847, I would kinda trust that price they have.

Thats what it appears anyways.
