Hey I have an EK and bought the JDM rear lip. Ive installed it and there is a gap towards the edge of the bumper, now ive rear that the JDM bumper is different than the OEM bumper we get. My question is how can I fix this, or is there a way to buy the OEM bumper to fix the problem? I tried calling everybody who sells the bumper and lip combo, but everyone says they are out and dont even know when they will get a new one...PLEASE HELP

 

jdm lips sould fit the american rear bumper easy with no gap.. maybe they lie to you and say it was "jdm" when it a replica. is the bumper abs plastic or
polyeuro-thang?

 

everybody I know (including myself) has had this problem, where the US bumper doesnt fit JDM lip... which is why shops sell the bumper and lip together. I have a fake rear lip, but it looks different than real one, and I would prefer the real. I was hoping someone can get there hands on a JDM bumper, it can be aftermarket, just so long as its the japanese one, thanks

 

I have 2000 ek with jdm ctr rear lip and it fits perfect, I purchased the car this way so how can I tell if the bumper is jdm so I can let you know my exact set up?

 

im not sure what exactly makes the bumpers different, but there is a slight gap on the edges of the bumper with the US/JDM combo. Ive been trying to find the JDM bumper forever, cause I know there someones got to have it, or at least a way to retrieve it. More than likely if yours fits, then you have a JDM bumper as well. I just dont want to use the fake lip I have... cause its
