My V Tech Phone has one base and two handsets
However, the VTEC switch over point on a stock ITR ECU is too high in my opinion so I recommend you lower it some how. I recommend some sort of engine management system like a Hondata S300 over a VTEC controller. It is more expensive but you can gain more power out of the programmable computer than you can with a VTEC controller.

Interesting...usually it seems the other way around. I'm pulling the Field out because I can only modify inside the ecu.

What class are you in? In SCCA STX, you can modify the ECU but it has to be the the factory housing. I believe why Hondata is illegal is b/c the ODB2-1 harness.
Piggy back systems (like vafc) are allowed in the SCCA rulebook.
If anyone has further clarification on STX allowed ecu mgt Id love to hear it, though.

For Honda Challenge I THINK all modifications must be made inside the ECU, so S100 or S300 would have to do it.
For any of you noobs who don't know, Hondata allows for altering VTEC-engagement point along with pretty much everything else. VTEC controllers do only one thing. They're like a crappy band-aid whereas Hondata is a professionally bandaged fix with gauze and neosporin

I forgot - you run the autocross arena & I'm setting up for club racing. 2 different rule books :-P
Anyway - Hondata ecu has the rewired plug to fit the stock wire harness = Approved ;-)
