I am about to purchase a jdm B16a2 and was wondering if usdm parts will fit a jdm motor? I want to replace the waterpump, distributor cap, spark plugs, plug wires and alternator. Which motor should i buy these parts for? Also which gaskets and oil filter will i need? Thanks for the help

 

Yes, the usdm parts will fit the jdm motor. there is no difference between the motors other than compression ratio and the manifold might have a few different vacum ports.

For timing belt and water pump, get one for a 94-95 del sol vtec (b16a3) or a 99-01 civic si (b16a2). plugs, wires, cap & rotor are usualy all the same for the dohc vtec motors. anything for a b16, b17, b18c should do you fine.
