new brakes and bearings.
Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi, found this site from google, and i'm testing it out. Now on to my problem: :d
I recently brought my car in to get serviced for a noise i kept hearing whenever i slowed down and pressed on the brakes, its a kind of rickety sounding noise in the rear. They told me the bearings were going, the brake discs were curved, and they told me they would need to get me new bearings and brakes in total it'll cost me around 650 CDN. I don't know much about cars but i was wondering what you guys think. I have a 2001 prelude se, it has 60k on it and i was just wondering if the rear brakes should be going out already.
thanks for your replies.

Buy some cheap OEM replacement rotors from your local auto parts store and replace them yourself, it's not hard. Then if it still makes the noise you'll know if it does or doesn't need bearings.
Don't let that shop dick you around.
