Default New 1/8th Times

This weekend was our local import series competition out our 1/8th mile track.

my first run was 7.99@98.5, next qualifying run I broke passenger axle at the hub.

third qualifying run was 7.57@103 with a 1.91 60ft.

First round of eliminations I ran my new best of 7.21@105 with a 1.73 60ft.
semi-finals round i had the race of my life, i ran a 7.30@106 to a big SRT4 of 7.32@104.
finals, i broke the new replacement axle on my passenger side at the hub. But the guy i would have ran, pulled a 7.39@103 in the finals,, so it would have been a very good race.

So i'm happy with the 7.20@105 & 7.30@106. This was with 14psi in first, 18 in 2nd and spiking to 24 in 3rd.

This weekend is a local 1/4 mile competition, so i'm hoping to finally get into the 10s. This assuming i can get axles to hold. I don't think i can drop 1600 on DSS stg 5 this week and get it on the car by saturday. So to autozone i go to buy alot of axles.

there is the engine setup:

Suspension is: Tein HA for ITR, Buck Motorsports Limit Straps, Jim Fab traction bars, ES motor mount inserts. traction is very limited even with 1st gear being 14psi, but i'm getting massive wheel spin.

Sean that is definitely a 10 sec 1/4 mi time. We were running consistent 7.70s @ 99mph in the 1/8mi and were going 11.50-11.55 @ 129mph in the 1/4mi.

well i hope so. but your car really picked up in the back 1/8th. last year my car went 7.54@95 to a 11.75@117 although low boost, so i'm sure that had something to do with it.
