Default Engine Swap help! (02' 1.7 into a 95' DX)

I have a friend that owns a 95' Civic DX, this weekend we're going to go pick up a 1.7 Vtec motor from an 02' Civic and we want to know if we're able to swap engines. If so what kind of modifications we'll be having to do. The engine is till in the 02' so we'll be pulling the engine, both harnesses and the ecu(if we can find it). Basically we need to know if the swap can be done, what kind of wiring discrepancies there will be, and what we will be needing to do the swap(motor mounts and what-not). If anyone has info on doing this or a website it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Dave

I don't even think that swap has been done before. Im sure there are no mount kits or anything for that yet, unless it can share K-series parts. The header will have to be custom made, along with the wiring, fuel lines, radiator hoses and a whole mess of other stuff. In my opinion, its not worth it. If its even possible.

I'm not sure but I thought the D17 has the same mounting points as a K20? So it might be pretty difficult?

I say don't do it its not really worth it

it wasn't for the extra .2L. His engine is burning oil pretty badly and doesn't have time to tear it apart and rebuild it. He's just lookin for something to throw in there quick
