md/va/dc custom body shops...
im looking into putting a 94+ integra front-end on my civic coupe very soon and need some advice from people who have had custom work done around the metro dc area.. i have not seen somone w/ this conversion around here but have seen pics online..

anyone know whos car this is anyways???
what are some good body shops that can do this conversion?? i have heard that you need to cut and weld the civic stock fenders and also the weld the radiator support to the frame, everything else i can handle cause it just bolts on pretty much..

get the integra JDM front end.. that would look way better.
ive been thinking about how to make the conversion a little better looking by getting a integra CF hood, integra Z3 fenders, possibly integra front bodykit bumper (but stock 98+ bumpers looks nice enough) and off course ill get clear corner lights w/ orange bulbs and a some good piaa headlights..
i just need to find out how the integra fenders fit onto the car as well as the radiator support, support bumper.. im working on a photoshop pic of what i want it to look like, if i get it done ill post it..
any other input on the topic???

If you were going to get the jdm integra front it would be cheaper to just get the jdm headlights and mold them on.
As for the conversion I have talked to a couple of local shops in GA about it a while back because I wanted to do it to my 96 coupe and they said it would be pretty easy for pretty much any shop to do depending on how you want the little flairs around the fender to look. It you do like in the picture you posted and leave more civic fender on there it makes the welding farder and the finishing work to smooth it out like that and make it look good is exspensive. This way does look better from what I have seen though. The other alternative is to use more of the integra fender(practically the whole thing except for what meets the door) and pretty much eliminate that little flair. either way it will look good but I think it looks better done like the one in the picture.
It will probably also be hard to find a shop that will just do the welding portion of it because they need to make sure everything lines up right so they ahve to put it on anyway and they are going to charge you for it. Good luck though you will have to post some pics if you end up inding a good shop. Alright sorry for the long post but I forgot to mention that it might be worth it trying to find a shop in a neighboring stste if you can't find a good one in your area. better to drive 200 mi and get it done right than drive 20 and be stuck with a crappy job.

ive been intersted in doing this as well but couldnt find any info on it ive only seen the pic of the one you posted which looks like mostly civic fender and a pic of a blue one ive found on kazza that looks almost completly a teg fender (it had the line that tegs have by the door) ive never seen it on a coupe and very interested to see how it would look
looks wierd to me, the nose of the car is all long and ugly, well thas just an opinion so that there will be less messed up riced out hatchbacks that are originally perfectly fine in the first place.
damn... I must be hungry 'cause all I see is a big bowl of rice
