Default Alot of quick questions..... B18c1 in to 96 EX

I know most of these questions have been answed mostly on here but i cant find many of them and i am in need of some dire help....

1. B18C1 in to 96 ex... what harness work is needed.... a how to forum would be best.....

2. my injectors on my 18 look like ones from a sohc.. the clips on the harness are the ones with the metal lil lock things on them that u have to liek pry open.... what do i do about that?

3. sensor on my intake manifold... i was told it was like a throttle postioning sensor... totaly broke.. how to remove it if possible and how to fix this...

4. have a p72 ecu will this be best ecu for the swap and am i going to need a harness jumper...???

Anything else any1 thinks i might need to know tell me i need the help and knowledge...

basic help neeeded how to forums would be best for me... any help would be appreciated....... thanks

i dnt knwo how to post pics on this site so if any1 needs pics ill be more then willing to show them what is wrong with certain things...

1. the gsr harness or your stock ex harness will work
2. just take a flat head pry off the metal C clip off
3. you can use your ex motor tps. use a hack saw to make a slot into the screw then use a flat head to turn it loose.
4.use whatever ecu comes stock on the ecu.

All of this information is readily available here on Honda-Tech. Dig through the FAQ's and other sticky's at the top of this forum to get some useful links and then use the search function to isolate the fine details that you still don't get.

I will say that I usually remove a TPS with a pair of needle nose pliers held tightly on the edge of the screws. After you break them loose you can usually turn them with your fingers.

i understand how to take the clips off the injectors but will the sohc harness clips re hook to the clips on the injectors

it will work if the b18c1 is obd2 like the harness on your 96ex

its a 95 motor and the harness will be 96-98 is that going to work then?

use ur harness and if ur car was a ex use the injectors off ur stock motor there the same size as the gsr injectors... the only wires ur going to have to add are the ones for the flap in the Mani ......

gsr's have a dual stage mani . ur going to have to run the wires into the ecu and pin them in for that
