RSX 5 bolt conversion on 01 civic or 1.7el
I tried searching but I couldn't find the thread about it.
I remember seeing it before maybe i haven't search enough to find out.
Can someone help me out cause I brought the 5 bolt conversion but the buyer told me that it's possible to do it with the rsx outer axle.
Any help would be helpful
Thanks

What do you need help with? Sounds like you'll have to source some RSX axles(I have some for sale, pm me if interested). You'll have to take your axles out and seperate the outer portion of it and fit outer portion of the RSX axle on. Not really as simple as it sounds, you may have to take it to an axle shop. Good luck.
well what does the conversion need. IM dying for a DC5 Conversion but i have no idea what i need. I would much rather get the EP3 rear since it would just be the rear assembly and the master cylinder.
Well i would appriciate if someone would give me the info on what it takes to do this...

I am sure it is possible, because a guy here in the Philippines has done it. Although he has the d16 engine...but I am pretty sure they are thesame as the d17.
It was not stright forward swap in through. The axle of the d16/d17 is different from the axle of the DC5 R, and the swap you have will not fit with the stock axle of the d series.
The problem is that the DC5 axle will not fit the d series tranny! The guy who did it here, had to do some machining work to get the DC5 parts fit the D series axle, and it was a bit difficult cause it ended that the disc did not match correctly with the position of the calipers, so they had to take billet steel machines to fit under the disc to move it forward to make it match the caliper, and get longer bolts for the wheels.
I hope this info will help...sorry for the bad news...I could be wrong though.

Well then i guess the EP3 Rear disc brake conversion is starting to look better and better....anyone selling a pair?
