Default Hesitaition / Bogging / Misfiring.....

Hope someone can help me out with this.

Heres the situation... My fuel pump dead out on me last week. I replaced it. After I installed the new fuel pump, drove around for abit, I noticed that the way my air\fuel guage readings behaved differently. Use to always be in the rich area. Now it was lean in first and second gear alot. Didnt drive it too much that night. Seemed fine though. The next day, I noticed that when I would come to a stop at a light, the car would die or bog badly. When I added gas sometimes, it would just stall. I thought maybe I was not getting enought fuel so I adj. my vafc to add more fuel. Didnt work.. seems to have got worse.

Can you guys give me some ideas on whats wrong?

main relay acting up? Clogged Fuel filter, Bad Injectors?

Also could be a loose ground wire. my thermostat housing ground came loose before and gave me lean and Boggy conidtions.

no the pump is a stock replacement. I dont have a fuel pressure gauge.

Is the a way to check the main relay? Originally when my car died, I thought it was bacause of the main relay. I had spark, fuel pump was turning on, but no fuel . Got a new factory relay, put it in but no luck. Didnt start. Therefore I check for fuel pressure and realized there wasnt any. Thats how I knew the pump was gone. Put in pump and car was good to go! but now I have this problem.

Could running lower octane gas cause this? Ive have always run 94 or 92 since I have had this motor. Its a lsvtec with CTR pistons. Compression is about 12.3:1. Maybe my mechanic possibly filled my tank with 87?? He says he reused my gas already in the tank.

Off the line, if I add gas slowly it bogs and sometimes stalls. But if I give it gas hard its fine. Seems to be misfiring. It will bog then all of a sudden go.

Also noticed that it doesnt crank over right away
