does an 89 civic hatchback whole front bumper including the beam and all will fit on a 90-91 civic hatchback ?

 

could be made to fit, but the mounting holes are different and it will take some fabrication

 

how does it mount different ?

 

As i recall the later models (90-91) have 8mm bolts and the earlier ones are 6mm. the holes slightly different from each other where they poke through. look at them up close it shouldn't be to hard to make it work

 

is the mounting point at least the same ?

 

ohh okay i got what ur saying ...what i meant is what if i use the 89 metal bar and front bumper cover everything on the bumper and just bolt it up on the 90 civic ...will it work ?

 

yea the bumper fits....u got to use the bolts from the car not the bumper.....i got a 91 teal and i put a 89 bumper and used the 91 bolts....fits with no prob.....just to let u know i did not try the 89 bolst cause i don' t have them....

 

ohh alright i anit worring abt the bolts, i just wanted to know if the whole front bumper assy will fit on my 90 hatch ...i just like the way 89 bumper looks .....oh 1 more thing will my 91 si lip fit fine on it ?
