Hey, buying a '99 TL tomorrow, and was wondering about some suspension options for the car. Want a decent drop without going to race springs. Anybody with experiance lowering this type of car that can give me info would be much appreciated! Thanks.

At the dealer I work at we have a customer with a 99 TL with koni struts ( yellow ) and comptech springs. All I can say is WOW. That thing handles beautifully.

 

if you want some real suspension go with some Tein SS's...i had them on my car and was never happier....they slam your car and give it almost like a stock suspension fel for the TL's

i had the tein ss's on my del sol si that i had last, enjoyed them but not much performance gains from them, more aestetics. guessing they would need a good shock to back them up. thinking aobut trying them or h&r sports with this on, not sure about shocks though.

 

Go with the tein ss coilovers they handle really good and will give a really good drop.
