Friend of mine has a 92-95 2nd gen dohc zc that he has boosted, needs to know what ecu to use for it...his car is a 92 and is also obd-1 i cant think of what ecu to use before going to hondata...thanx guys!
for a non-vtec OBD1 setup...use any chipped P05, P06, PR4 or P75 ECU
EDIT: You can use any OBD1 VTEC ECU as well...just disable VTEC in whatever editor you are using.

With no editor right now...just need an ecu to run on...only boosting 5-6psi right now, nothing big, just need the ecu for the setup...
If you are talking about running a *stock* ecu (ie not chipped) there is three ecus you can run which will work (without codes)
p06 (92-95 sohc dx non-vtec): will work, will run lean though
p74/p75 (92-95 dohc LS ecu): will work, runs rich, fuel/ignition tables all wrong
p29 (obd1 dohc ZC): this is the one you really want
p28 (sohc vtec): will run the engine okay (prolly run a little lean on the topend without the vtec map enabled), but you will have a CEL
I run a p28 chipped ecu with Neptune on my dohc ZC. I run with vtec enabled (even though it does nothing) so i have more resultion on the topend (i rev my motor to 9000). Ive also run Uberdata back in the day also on a p28.

The p29 is from a EG5, its a 92-95 eg with an obd1 dohc ZC. The ecu is somewhat rare and hard to find - its out there though.
You can always chip a p28/p06/p74/p75 ecu and install the p29 program. You can find the p29 BINARY on pgmfi.org and chipping the ecu is cheap.

Im running a 3rd gen dohc ZC (black top). This block is out of the EG5, its a obd1 motor, so it came with a obd1 dizzy, obd1 wiring, obd1 fuel injectors etc. It was a simple swap into my 93 civic SI.
If you are doing a swap into a obd1/2 car, i highly recommend you start with a obd1 motor - save yourself alot of trouble.
