92-95 window tracks
I converted my dx to power windows and I am having problems keeping the tracks greased. I would like to convert to ex tracks so I won't have to constantly grease them. My question is are the window tracks in a dx and ex the same (size, etc), besides that the ex tracks come pre-greased? Thanks in advance.

Yeah well, I just deal with having to reset the windows every once in a while. What is it that you grease them with in yours? I have read a few threads on here about how the '96-00's have this problem naturally (obviously not all, but most of them), and it seemed there was a kind of grease that you could get from the dealer. I am not sure if this is what you are using or not.

Well I searched on here and asked around. People told me to use axle grease, why makes a huge mess. It worked for awhile, but I decided to use the white lithium grease. (<<I thought the dealer used white lithium grease) It seems like every week, I have to grease them and I am sick of cleaning the grease off of my windows.
The tracks are 50 dollars each with a discount from the dealer, which is worth it to me if it will at least decrease the number of times I have to grease them. Oh and I have a 93 eg--so I think I am in the clear, hopefully.

I am confused about what tracks you mean. Are these the tracks that the two rollers (part of the mechanism) inside the door go on or are these the two tracks on either side of the glass.
if it's the rubber tracks on either side of the glass then use silicon lube; simple, clean, and easy to use
