which fmic for eg with foglights?
i recently got a b18b and for xmas im going to buy myself a turbo kit, probably the rev hard stage 2 kit but the only problem i will encounter is the intercooler. i wont be boosting high (15psi at the VERY most) so i dont need a huge intercooler and i dont want to have to cut any part of my grill or bumper and im not getting rid of my fogs cuz i know it will work somehow and i doubt the intercooler that comes with the kit will fit.
ive heard some ppl buy a certain fmic and just flip it upside down. i dont want to wait for xmas to have to worry about it, i want to have it figured out and put on before new years. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

do an advanced search on ebay for the seller etd108. he has an intercooler that is 28x8x3.5 i think??? anyway the in/out is offset to the top/bottom. it looks like it would work from what ive measured on my front bumper with fogs. but the grill will have to go.

Yeah any FMIC will fit fine, its the piping you need to worry about. You want the piping as low as possible to fit under the stock fogs.
My old f-max FMIC and f-max piping fit - i was able to keep the stock fogs. However with my new PTE FMIC and custom piping i cant. I could prolly redo the piping to fit it - i just havent had time. Just gotta keep the piping as low as can be.

I used a JRC 8" with endtanks on bottom, 2.25 in/outlet, then used 45 degree couplings to make the piping go under the fog lights. I had to remove bumper support to fit the 8" intercooler.
If you go under the fogs, the problem is that 2.5 piping is too wide and will not fit behind the bumper.
Another solution:
flip intercooler upside down so entanks are now on top, they will clear fogs just fine.

No...they fit just right under the fogs and the bottom of the bumper line. The piping on this intercooler in the picture is at the bottom of the FMIC, and goes right under the fogs.
