I am reading another message board and these guys are saying that the S2000 engine will drop into the RSX or 2001 up civic! They are saying that this swap will utilize a tranny of a RSX and everything will bolt up. Is this true?? I know the engine of the RSX and 7 Gen civic are interchangeable but the S2K....i am little skeptical. Can anyone verify this?? Does anyone know the engine code of the S2K?? I know the RSX is K20C....right? Thanks
I believe the engine code for the S2k is F20 or something like that. One problem is that the rsx and 01 civics are front wheel drive and the s2k is real wheel drive.

That would make no differance if the motor has the capability of bolting up to a FF trans.
No. it will not bolt in. from what i understand.
first off the s2k engine sits front to back in the engine bay rather than the newgen civic/rsx motors wich are sideways. (and backwads compared to previous motors.)
and yes its RWD.
