what happens when you neglect a CV axle/boot repair?

Default what happens when you neglect a CV axle/boot repair?

the civic is clicking a lot when i turn left ,I'm on a REALLLL tight budget and can't really afford to fix it right now,what could happen?is my control arm gonna suddenly fall off and flip the car?lol,help me out here guys

a boot is like 15 bucks....if u dont do it ur looking at a cv axle failure aka no car. Replacing the boot would be to patch the problem....its up to you

the thing is i don't think it's the boot because it looks new

Once the Cv shaft starts clicking you need to replace the cv shaft all together. You dont need to replace the left and right at the same time, you can do just one. The thing is the lubercant dry's out from a crack in the boot or some how air is getting in a drying it out. Doest really matter. Once it starts clicking its not worth greasing it and throwing a new boot on, replace it.

oh the worse that will happen if its the cv shaft is it will snap at the joint and spin freely and prolly start wacking ****.
