are all crx door panels the same. or is the 90-91 dofferent from the 80s?

 

In the US:

All CRX Sis have CRX written on the door panels.
All 89-91 CRX door panels have the seat belts in the door. Something about reinforcing the door or something.
All 88s have pillar mounted seatbelts.
I've heard the 89 HFs have pillar mounted belts but I've never seen one.

Canada:

I don't know **** about Canadian CRXs. I heard that they ALL came with pillar mounted seat belts.

i do know that you can swap door mounted belts for pillar mounted ones but don't ask me how, SEARCH!

 

so could i put a 88 door panel on my 91 if i cut holes for the seat belt? orwould it just not fit right.

 

i think it would fit bc thats what i am gonna do to mine, except i am putting 88 panels in a 89 si.... the worst you could do it to try it
