K guys.. and girls... engine has about 220,000 KM on it.. still running pretty good though... what would the first thing you do to it be? I'm thinking about getting the engine rebuilt first but I know that's gonna cost me some serious $$. Maybe I should start on smaller stuff.. Your advice would be very much appreciated.. hmm....if i were you...id either save my money and go for a full turbo setup, or maybe just i/h/e if your not planning on going forced induction. If your waiting to do engine work go with a susupension.

 

engine swap is the first thing I would do w/ that many miles. B16A with cable tranny is around $1100-$1300.

 

do NOT buy a first gen motor
your going to wind up spending more than a second gen swap.
(mounts, cable to hydro clutch conversion, etc ETC ETC)
i would do a swap before i did any mods (in fact, i did. just got my b16 and now going crazy)
for a b16a second gen your looking at about 2400-2700 for the full swap and for a b18c1 3000-3500 for the full swap.

 

Are we talking about a JDM coupe??? Cause they didin't make an si in the states in 94 well atleast not in a coupe only hatch??
