Default Need help, using raxles in a 1990crx b16 swap, having issues

Hey everyone.
I just finished up a b16 swap in my 1990 crx si. I have the Y1 tranny with mid shaft, and I am using the raxles I got from a good friend of mine who would not of lied to me about the shape they are in. The car drives fine going strait. When you make a hard right, or even sometimes left turn you hear a pop/clunk type noise and you feel the steering wheel move ( like pull ) . It feels like something is loose in the suspension. I really dont think the cv joints are bad. I have the car up in the air and I have checked almost everything. Everything is tight including the crossmember. My lower control arm bushings are kinda worn, but not enough to let the axle move that much.
I am using the dust sheilds as well. I know when I had difffrent axles on my zc swap, I had to remove the dust sheilds, do you think that could be an issue?
Thanks for the help.

I just tried to take out the dust sheilds inbetween the hub and the axles. Same problem. It sounds like something is loose/broken. When you turn it clunks/pops and you feel the steering wheel wanting to pull. It does not sound like a cv joint tho. Any ideas?
