Time to rebuild my B16
Well, my motor is worn out. Its time to do a rebuild, but while I have it apart, I would like spend a few extra $$. I would like to bump the compression to maybe 12:1. What would be a good set of pistons to get? I'm thinking of upgrading cams. I heard that ITR cams are good for the b16 and they are not too expensive. Is there any such thing as an aftermarked head for a b16? Is it a good idea to mill the head for more compression? I'm not looking to spend thousands and I don't need to build a race motor, but I would like to do some upgrades while its in pieces and squeeze a little more hp out of it. I'm not planning forced induction. I'm very interested in your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.
